Coletivo Ilê Capoeira has many locations in Chicago, Hermosillo, South Arizona, Long Beach, and other spots. Coletivo Ilê Capoeira has a strong, diverse community of students that are dedicated to this art of transformation. The Coletivo Ilê Capoeira family of students offers a supportive training environment; ideal for developing both physical skill, cultural awareness and mind/body wellness.
Long Beach has a thriving community of Capoeiristas from several different groups. Our students are encouraged to attend beach and street rodas where they can play with people from different groups. This is how we try to build Capoeira itself as a community and to help our students become a part of that bigger community.
